Open Evening

As much as we hope our website paints a rounded picture of what you can expect from our school, nothing compares with visiting in person to explore our facilities, appreciate the school’s wonderfully welcoming spirit and to experience the happiness, courtesy and warmth of our pupils and teaching staff.

Our Open Evening will take place between
5pm and 7pm
on:

Thursday 26th September 2024

There is no parking available within the school site and local on street parking is extremely limited. Visitors may use the car park at Lidl if parking is needed. Please park considerately. Walking is therefore highly encouraged. For any disabled visitors there are a handful of spaces available by reception, but please have your disabled badge ready to show our site security at the main gate on arrival.

The whole school is open for the evening, with children and teachers in all departments to give you a flavour of school life. We are an open book, and you are invited to freely explore the site as you wish.  Prefects will also be around for guidance, direction and of course questions!

Talks from our Headteacher are in the main hall at both 5.15pm and 6:15pm but owing to limited seating, these must be booked in advance using the link below.

Option A:
Arrival at 5pm, 5:15pm talk by the Headteacher, then time to explore afterwards:

Option B:
Arrival at 5pm, time to explore the school site, 6:15pm talk by the Headteacher and limited time afterwards for further exploration:

No advance booking is necessary to simply tour the school during the evening.

Visiting during the school day

For parents wishing to see the school 'in action' we also offer a handful of opportunities to visit the school during the working day.  These visits will be in small groups, touring the school with an assistant headteacher, stepping into multiple classrooms and includes some time for questions at the end. Please note there is no parking on site, unless you are a disabled badge holder.   Please make one booking per family group.   NB: Dates will become available during September.

Departmental information can be found along with videos by each subject under 'Curriculum'.

Pastoral care information can be found under ‘Our School

We hope you find the information both useful and informative.
